FC Seoul has established a partnership with the global decentralized AI cloud corporation Theta Network and launched the official AI fan agent "SeoulMate." Fans can use SeoulMate directly on the FC Seoul official website, where they can access various information such as match schedules, player details, ticket bookings, and historical records in real time, 24 hours a day.
Supporting both Korean and English, SeoulMate is a delightful and intuitive conversational AI chatbot that aims to enhance digital communication with fans. This is particularly significant as it allows for continuous fan interaction not only during the season but also in the off-season. Through this collaboration, FC Seoul has become the first K League team to introduce generative AI, and Theta Network will officially enter the Asian football market based on its collaboration experiences with the NBA’s Houston Rockets, NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, and MLS’s San Jose Earthquakes.
Mitch Liu, co-founder and CEO of Theta Network, said, "I am very pleased to provide FC Seoul fans with a new way of communication based on AI. SeoulMate is the beginning of an innovative AI service that can extend the fan experience even outside the stadium."
FC Seoul plans to expand the fan experience utilizing AI services through its collaboration with the global decentralized AI cloud corporation Theta Network.
Meanwhile, FC Seoul will face Ulsan HD on the 20th (Sunday) at 7 p.m. at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Ticket reservations are available through the FC Seoul official website and the official app.
