Gangwon's Kim Dae-won has been selected as the winner of the K League's 'Drink with Confidence, Dongwon Spring Water Goal of the Month' for June in the 2025 season.
The 'Drink with Confidence, Dongwon Spring Water Goal of the Month,' sponsored by Dongwon F&B, is awarded to the player who scores the most impressive goal each month. The winner is decided by fan voting through the K League membership application 'Kick,' where fans can participate a total of 3 times, voting once a day for each of the two candidates during the voting period.
The June 'Goal of the Month' focused on the K League 1 Round 18-21 matches, with the nominees being Gangwon's Kim Dae-won and Suwon FC's Noh Kyung-ho.
In the 21st round match against Suwon FC, Kim Dae-won scored a powerful long-range shot into the corner of the goal, beyond the reach of the opposing goalkeeper, leading Gangwon to victory. Noh Kyung-ho was nominated for the June Goal of the Month after scoring an accurate long-range shot in the 41st minute of the first half against Anyang in the 18th round, following a breakthrough past the opposing defense.
The 'Kick' fan voting was held for three days from the 8th (Tuesday) to the 10th (Thursday) of this month. As a result, Kim Dae-won received 4,242 votes (71%), defeating Noh Kyung-ho, who received 1,721 votes (29%), to win the 'June Goal of the Month.' Kim Dae-won will receive a cash prize of 1 million won and a trophy. Starting this year, the league is producing replica trophies featuring the handwritten signature of the Goal of the Month winner for charity auctions.
