Callaway Golf Korea will officially launch the new forged cavity iron "X Forged Max" on the domestic market on the 14th. This product is meticulously made from 1020 carbon steel, offering a soft feel and high forgiveness simultaneously.
The biggest feature is the dual pocket design completed with precise CNC milling processing. The pockets placed at the toe and heel enhance forgiveness, providing significant compensation even on mis-hits, while the stepped design in the center between the dual pocket cavities preserves the signature soft feel of forged irons. Additionally, easy and comfortable offset and topline designs have been applied, allowing golfers of various levels, not just advanced players, to use them without hassle.
The "X Forged Max" iron features a tri-level sole design. The extra weight secured by the pockets placed at the toe and heel is utilized in the width of the sole to create a semi-wide sole shape, which lowers and deepens the center of gravity, making it easier to lift the ball. Moreover, the leading edge and trailing edge are finely trimmed to minimize turf resistance, aiding in a clean impact.
The "X Forged Max" iron consists of a total of six clubs, from 5-iron to 9-iron, and a pitching wedge (PW). The shaft is equipped with the N.S.PRO 950 NEO ST, and the stiffness can be selected between R and S. The grip features a 50g Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip, accentuating the luxurious design, which is further highlighted by the engraving of the X symbol representing the "X Forged" iron on the head.
