The Lotte Giants of professional baseball conducted the "Temperature Awareness Campaign" in collaboration with the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) to promote a culture of energy-saving practices during the summer.
Lotte stated, "In preparation for the surge in electricity demand during the summer, this campaign was planned to inform fans about the importance of energy conservation and to encourage practical actions in daily life. The first event was held at Sajik Baseball Stadium on July 10, and the second event is scheduled for August 26."
On August 26, activities will include operating a temperature awareness promotional booth, broadcasting campaign videos on electronic display boards, quiz and pledge participation events, street promotions around the stadium, and distributing "Temperature Awareness" merchandise, aiming to deliver energy-saving messages to the audience.
Among the participants in the event, prizes will be awarded through a lottery, including one LG Stand By Me and 30 Lotte Giants authentic home jerseys, with winners able to check results on the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) website on September 19.
Lotte noted, "This 'Temperature Awareness Campaign' is an ESG practice case of public-sports cooperation, and it is expected to serve as an opportunity to convey energy-saving messages to citizens through the medium of sports and to encourage practical actions in daily life."
