Samsung Lions' Lewin Diaz won the home run derby.
Diaz lifted the championship trophy by recording 11 home runs in the preliminaries and 8 in the finals at the '2025 KBO All-Star Game Com2uS Pro Baseball Home Run Derby' held at Hanwha Life Park in Daejeon on the 11th.
This year's home run derby was conducted in a format combining a timed system and an out rule. The preliminaries provided opportunities of 2 minutes and 2 outs, while in the finals, hitters could bat for 2 minutes and 3 outs.
Choi Jeong (SSG), who had a delayed start to the season due to injury, finished the first half with a batting average of .198 (34 hits in 172 at-bats), 11 home runs, 33 RBIs, 29 runs scored, and an OPS of .753 over 48 games. Although he was scheduled to participate in the home run derby that day, he withdrew due to a sudden worsening of his hamstring condition.
