Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Real Madrid (Spain) and advanced to the Club World Cup final.
On the 10th (Korea time), PSG achieved a 4-0 victory against Real Madrid in the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA.
On this day, the presence of PSG's Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in stood out. Substituted in at the 34th minute of the second half, Lee penetrated the back space of Real Madrid with a lobbing pass from the right side at the 43rd minute.
In the subsequent chance, PSG finished off with a shot from Gonzalo Hamus after receiving a pass from Bradley Barcola, scoring a decisive goal. Lee Kang-in is participating in his fourth match of the tournament.
With this, PSG is now challenging for their first Club World Cup title in the club's history and aiming for the inaugural championship of this tournament, which has expanded to 32 teams.
By reaching the semifinals, PSG secured 82 million pounds (about 150 billion won) in revenue.
PSG has taken another step towards winning another major tournament, the Club World Cup, following their victory in the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League (UCL).
PSG will face Chelsea (England) in the final at the same location on the 14th at 4 a.m.
