Choi Hee-am, the chairman of the KXO organizing committee, and Park Geon-yeon, the president of KXO, received the grand prize at the '2025 24th Best Brand Awards.'
On the 5th, the '2025 24th Best Brand Awards' held at the National Assembly Members' Hall was hosted by the Korea Best Brand Association, with sponsorship from the National Assembly, the Seoul City Council, and the King Sejong National Committee.
This awards ceremony was an occasion to discover and award individuals, corporations, and organizations that are working hard and dedicated to social development in various fields. The event aimed to highlight the achievements of individuals dedicated to local autonomy, social contribution, culture, and the arts, thereby presenting the values and future directions that our society should pursue.
Choi Hee-am, the chairman of the KXO organizing committee, and Park Geon-yeon, the president of KXO, received the entertainer award at this ceremony. Chairman Choi and President Park were honored with the grand prize for their contributions to the development of 3x3 basketball and the enhancement of international competitiveness.
Chairman Choi Hee-am noted, "The crisis theory of Korean basketball has continued for several years, but the reality is that a proper solution has not emerged. In the meantime, I thought that 3x3 basketball could be a new breakthrough, and I have been actively working on it for several years. Recently, holding various international 3x3 competitions in the country has shown some promising signs. I will continue to work harder for the development of Korean 3x3 basketball."
President Park Geon-yeon stated, "I am honored to receive this great award. I take it as a sign to devote myself further to the development of 3x3 basketball. There are still many areas where we need to improve. However, with the help of many people, the situation has been getting better every year. I will continue to dedicatedly help 3x3 basketball become a new source of vitality for Korean basketball."
