The Korea Football Association (KFA) has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Best Sleep.
The Korea Football Association stated on the 7th, "We have contracted with Best Sleep as the official sponsor to provide mattresses and various bedding for the Cheonan Soccer Comprehensive Center, which is set to officially open in the second half of this year." The contract period is four years, until 2029.
Best Sleep has specialized in manufacturing high-quality mattresses since 1989 and is providing beds and mattresses to the Jincheon, Pyeongchang, and Taereung national training centers based on its long-standing know-how and technology.
The signing ceremony for the official sponsorship agreement took place on the 19th of last month at the Korea Football Association headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, attended by Vice President Lee Yong-soo, Executive Kim Seung-hee, and Best Sleep CEO Seo Jin-won.
Executive Kim Seung-hee noted, "I am pleased that not only the adult national team but also the various age group football teams that will be responsible for the future of Korean football will receive verified mattresses for use at the soccer comprehensive center." He added, "Since comfortable sleep greatly affects the athletes' condition, I hope this contract with Best Sleep will positively impact the performance of the national teams of all age groups."
CEO Seo Jin-won of Best Sleep said, "I feel very honored to be able to support the Korean national football team." He continued, "I hope the team, which has qualified for 11 consecutive World Cup finals, can rest well on Best Sleep mattresses and perform at their best in next year's North and Central American World Cup."
Meanwhile, the Korea Football Association has signed official sponsorship agreements with two companies this year, including Best Sleep following Chong Kun Dang, receiving sponsorship from a total of seven companies.
