In the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Korea's national football team player Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) will face Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich).

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won 4-0 against Inter Miami in the round of 16 match held on the 30th (Korea time) in Atlanta, USA. Lionel Messi played the full match but was silent, while Lee Kang-in came on as a substitute in the 70th minute and recorded a 100% passing success rate.

In another round of 16 match held the same day in Florida, Bayern Munich defeated Brazil's Flamengo 4-2. Harry Kane scored multiple goals, while Kim Min-jae remained on the bench due to injury effects.

PSG decisively settled the match by scoring four goals in the first half alone. João Neves recorded multiple goals, supplemented by an own goal from the opponent and a goal from Achraf Hakimi. Messi attempted two shots on target but failed to score.

Bayern Munich sealed the victory with Kane's decisive goal despite Flamengo's tenacious pursuit. They took the lead with an own goal in the 6th minute and a long-range goal from Kane in the 9th minute. When Flamengo closed the gap with two goals, Kane scored again in the 73rd minute, ensuring their advancement to the quarterfinals.
