Kim Hyo-joo, Choi Hye-jin, and Hwang Yu-min have come together to promise an exciting match. The KLPGA Tour Lotte Open will be held from the 3rd at the Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon.
The 15th Lotte Open, hosted by Lotte, is a big event where top players compete for a total prize pool of 1.2 billion won and a winner's prize of 216 million won. This year, a total of 132 players will compete for the championship trophy.
This season, Kim Hyo-joo, who has recorded one victory each on the LPGA and European Tours, and Choi Hye-jin, who has achieved five top-10 finishes including one runner-up this season and ranks 7th in LPGA prize money, are both in top form as they visit domestic golf fans. Along with Lee So-young, who achieved a three-peat in the March team golf competition, and Hwang Yu-min, all members of the Lotte Golf Team will participate in the tournament.
Yee Ye-won (22, MediHeal), who has claimed three victories this season and ranks first in both prize money and Player of the Year points, along with Park Hyun-kyung (25, MediHeal), Bang Shin-sil (20, KB Financial Group), and Lee Dong-eun (20, SBI Savings Bank) are also expected to heat up the competition as KLPGA representative star players. Defending champion Lee Ga-young (25, NH Investment & Securities) will attempt to defend her title.
Lotte is the only KLPGA regular tour that provides domestic promising players with opportunities to participate in the main event through preliminary rounds.
This year, 16 professionals and amateurs An Yoon-joo, Yang Yoon-seo, and Choi Jeong-won, who achieved a final score of 4 under par at the '2025 Lotte Open Qualifying Tournament' held at the Lotte Skyhill Buyeo Country Club on April 1st, secured their spots in the Lotte Open, including Song Min-kyo (21), Park Ye-ji (20, KB Financial Group), and Go Ji-won (21, Samchuly).
Lotte, which uniquely hosts both the KLPGA and LPGA tournaments in Korea, has been providing the winner with a chance to advance to the LPGA stage every year, and the winner of this tournament will also receive a spot in the 'LPGA Lotte Championship.'
Known as the 'freedom zone for domestic golf,' the Lotte Open boasts a diverse and lively atmosphere this year, filled with various entertainments for the gallery.
The 18th hole features the tournament's signature 'Lotte Pleasure Hole,' where fans can cheer for the players in a fun atmosphere with exciting music. This year, a performance by a professional DJ will also be included. Furthermore, the layout has been changed to a short par 5 to encourage aggressive plays by the players.
If a player records a birdie or better on that hole, various prizes will be provided to the gallery on-site. Alongside this, the largest gallery plaza in the country will operate as a special space where attendees can experience Lotte's various brands directly.
On the official practice day, July 2nd, the 18th Pleasure Hole will offer a photo call session where four members of the Lotte Golf Team—Kim Hyo-joo, Lee So-young, Choi Hye-jin, and Hwang Yu-min—and the defending champion Lee Ga-young will meet fans to feel the excitement of the event firsthand. Fans recruited through pre-registration will also receive souvenirs and the chance to watch each player's practice rounds.
The gallery plaza, which will be the largest of its kind, will serve as a special space for meeting and enjoying various Lotte brands in one place, with plenty of food options and many participatory events and prizes prepared from companies such as LOTTE Chilsung Beverage, LOTTE Wellfood, Canon Korea, LOTTE GRS, and LOTTE Card.
For participating players, various hole-in-one prizes will be available, including a high-end massage chair at the 7th hole, and premium bed sets at the 12th and 17th holes, along with a Mercedes-Benz vehicle provided by KCC Auto.
