The NC Dinos of professional baseball held 'Tongyeong City Sponsor Day' during their home game against the Doosan Bears at Changwon NC Park on the 28th, providing a meaningful time to inform fans visiting the stadium about the tourism resources and specialties of Tongyeong City.
NC is promoting Tongyeong City through various channels, including front uniform advertising, fixed boards behind the catcher, outfield fence LEDs, and the main electronic scoreboard, having signed a sponsorship agreement with Tongyeong City for two consecutive years.
Before the game that day, Tongyeong Mayor Cheon Young-ki and NC Dinos representative Lee Jin-man attended a '2025 Season Sponsorship Agreement Ceremony' held on the ground, adding significance to the event with Mayor Cheon throwing the ceremonial first pitch for victory.
A promotional booth informing fans about Tongyeong City's main tourism resources and specialties was also operated in front of GATE 1. In particular, the specialty products booth featured products made from Tongyeong’s seafood such as oysters, eels, anchovies, and sea squirts, along with a corner where fans could taste and purchase apple mangos and blueberries, receiving great responses.
Additionally, during the game, a special quiz event about Tongyeong City was held, with winners receiving Tongyeong specialties as prizes, enhancing the enjoyment for fans.

NC Dinos CEO Lee Jin-man noted, 'Tongyeong City is the local government that is most actively promoting sponsorship among 18 cities, counties, and districts in Gyeongnam, and after advertising on helmets last year, the city is now working with the team throughout the entire season as a uniform sponsor. Moving forward, the team will widely promote Tongyeong City's excellent tourism, culture, and food resources and work with Tongyeong City to create a community synergy model through sports.'

Since being designated as the first nighttime tourism specialized city, it has been expanding its city brand based on various cultural content and nighttime tourism resources, and plans to carry out various marketing activities for enhancing the city brand and local coexistence through collaboration with the NC Dinos.
