Following that, Lee Ro-woon and Jo Byeong-hyeon took the mound, pitching the remaining innings scoreless to secure the victory.

SSG Manager Lee Soong-yong said in a post-game interview, 'Thanks to the bullpen’s scoreless effort and the players' offensive power, we were able to win today.'

'First, I congratulate (Choi) Jeong on his 20th consecutive season of double-digit home runs,' said Manager Lee Soong-yong. 'This is a remarkable record achieved through consistency. Jeong's three-run home run sparked our offense, while (Choi) Ji-hoon and Eredia as table setters led the attack with multi-hits, and Oh Tae-gon's pinch-hit 2-RBI single in the seventh was crucial for our victory,' praising the hitters who performed well. He added, 'On the pitching side, (Jeon) Young-jun's 2⅔ scoreless innings provided a strong foundation for our win. The subsequent appearances by (Kim) Taek-hyung, (Kim) Min, (Lee) Ro-woon, and (Jo) Byeong-hyeon were also excellent.'

SSG recorded its 13th sell-out crowd of the season that day. Manager Lee Soong-yong expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, 'Finally, I’d like to thank the fans for their support, which energized us to victory.'

SSG announced that Drew Anderson will be the starting pitcher on the 28th. Hanwha will have Cody Ponce as their starting pitcher.
