The LG Twins of professional baseball achieved thrilling comeback victories for two consecutive days, returning to a tie for first place.

LG secured a comeback win of 4-3 against KIA in a game held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 27th. With this victory, LG reclaimed the top position for the first time since the 14th. As Hanwha Eagles lost to SSG Landers on that day, both teams ended up tied for first place with 44 wins, 31 losses, and 2 draws.

LG's starting pitcher Son Ju-yeong recorded a quality start with 6 innings, allowing 4 hits, 1 walk, and 2 earned runs while striking out 3.

Son Ju-yeong allowed runs in the 4th inning. Lead-off batter Park Chan-ho reached base with an infield hit in front of the third baseman. In the top of the 9th, closer Yoo Young-chan came in, recording two outs before giving up a single to Kim Ho-ryeong and walking pinch hitter Kim Seok-hwan. With two outs and runners on first and second, he finished the game with a ground ball to the shortstop off Lee Chang-jin.
