'Trade acquisition' Cheon Seong-ho made a big impact in his debut with the LG Twins.
The professional baseball LG Twins achieved a 4-3 comeback victory against the KT Wiz in the 7th match of the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League held at Suwon KT Wiz Park on the 26th.

Gu Bon-hyeok laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Park Hae-min reached first base from being hit by a pitch and stole second base, setting up a situation with one out and runners on second and third. Cheon Seong-ho, the runner on third, scored on a wild pitch. Then, Shin Min-jae, at the plate, hit a game-winning single after eight pitches, becoming the hero of the comeback.
Starting pitcher Im Chan-kyu finished with 5 innings, allowing 5 hits (1 home run), 2 walks, 3 strikeouts, and 2 earned runs, with 90 pitches and no decision. Following him were Park Myeong-geun (1 inning, no runs), Lee Ji-kang (⅔ inning, 1 run), Kim Jin-sung (⅓ inning, no runs), Lee Jeong-yong (1 inning, no runs), and Yu Yeong-chan (1 inning, no runs). Lee Jeong-yong secured his first win after returning from service, and Yu Yeong-chan recorded his second save of the season.
In the batting lineup, Shin Min-jae led the way with 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 1 run including the game-winning hit, while Kim Hyun-soo had 2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats. Park Hae-min contributed with 2 hits, 1 walk, and 2 runs in 2 at-bats, steering the team to the comeback victory. Cheon Seong-ho faced his former team, but managed just a pop-out to second base in the 2nd inning, a pop-out to center field in the 5th inning, and a pop-out to second base in the 6th inning, but made an impact with a crucial hit and scoring in his final at-bat.
