The professional baseball Kiwoom Heroes and KIA Tigers played to a draw.

Kiwoom and KIA recorded a 5-5 tie in the 11th inning during their 12th match of the 2025 KBO League season held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 26th.

In the top of the 11th inning, Kiwoom put Oh Seok-joo on the mound as the 6th pitcher. After one out, KIA's Kim Kyu-sung reached base after being hit by a pitch. Han Jun-soo created a chance with a hit that fell in front of the center fielder, putting runners on first and second. Lee Chang-jin drew a walk and the bases were loaded with one out. Park Chan-ho broke the tie with a sacrifice fly to center field, making it 5-4.

In the bottom of the 11th inning, Kiwoom's foreign hitter Stone came up to bat. He reached base with a hit against KIA pitcher Kim Hyun-soo that fell in front of the left fielder. Park Su-jong struck out. Song Seong-moon hit a triple to right-center, tying the game at 5-5. Lim Ji-yeol struck out. KIA sent Lee Ju-hyeong and Choi Joo-hwan home on consecutive automatic intentional walks, choosing Park Joo-hong with two outs. Park Joo-hong's fly out to the shortstop ended the game.

Kiwoom's starting pitcher Ha Young-min went 6 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts, and 4 earned runs without a decision. KIA substitute starter Kim Geon-guk recorded 3 innings, allowing 2 hits, 3 strikeouts, and 1 earned run.

KIA employed a total of 9 pitchers, following starter Kim Geon-guk with Choi Ji-min (4th inning), Seong Young-tak (5th inning, 3 earned runs), Kim Dae-yu (5th inning), Lee Ho-min (6th inning), Jeon Sang-hyun (7th inning), Jo Sang-woo (8th inning), Jeong Hae-young (9th inning), and Kim Hyun-soo (10th inning). Oh Seon-woo moved up from 5th to 3rd in the batting order after hitting a triple on the previous day for the first time in 2187 days.

Kiwoom started with Song Seong-moon (third baseman), Lim Ji-yeol (designated hitter), Lee Ju-hyeong (center fielder), Choi Joo-hwan (first baseman), Joo Seong-won (right fielder), Eo Jun-seo (shortstop), Kim Keon-hee (catcher), Jeon Tae-hyun (second baseman), and Lee Yong-kyu (left fielder).

KIA took the first lead in the 1st inning. After one out, Park Chan-ho reached base with a double down the left field line. On Oh Seon-woo's fly out to center, the runner on second tagged up and successfully advanced to third.

When Choi Hyung-woo came to bat, a curveball on the 6th pitch bounced and deflected slightly to the first base side, escaping the catcher. The runner on third, Park Chan-ho, sprinted home to score.

Kiwoom's Jeon Tae-hyun reached base with a single up the middle after one out in the 3rd inning. After Lee Yong-kyu's ground out to the first baseman, there were two outs with a runner on second, and Song Seong-moon hit a double that banged off the center field wall to tie the game at 1-1.

KIA regained the lead in the 4th inning. After one out, Oh Seon-woo reached base with a hit to right. On a wild pitch during Choi Hyung-woo's at-bat, the runner advanced to second, and Choi Hyung-woo hit a single to right, bringing home the runner on second to score. Wisdom drew a walk, creating a chance with one out and runners on first and second. Kim Seok-hwan struck out, and Kim Ho-ryeong ended the attack with a ground out to the second baseman.

KIA added another run in the 5th inning. After one out, Park Min walked to reach base. On Lee Chang-jin's hit to right, the ball deflected off the right fielder's glove and skipped toward center. The runner on first, starting on a hit-and-run, dashed home without delay to score, extending the lead to 3-1.

Kiwoom turned the game around in the 5th inning. Against the new pitcher Seong Young-tak, Jeon Tae-hyun reached base with a walk after one out. Lee Yong-kyu hit a single to left, setting up a chance with one out and runners on first and second. Song Seong-moon's double to right cut the deficit down to one run.

With one out and runners on second and third, Lim Ji-yeol hit a ground ball to the third baseman. Wisdom, trying to throw home to tag the runner attempting to score, hit the runner from third on the right hand, causing the throw to deflect. The error allowed the runner on third to score, tying the game at 3-3. With one out and runners on first and third, Lee Ju-hyeong's ground ball to the second baseman brought the runner from third home, turning the game around to 4-3.

In the 7th inning, KIA's lead-off hitter Kim Ho-ryeong reached scoring position with a double to left-center that deflected off the left fielder's glove. Kiwoom replaced starting pitcher Ha Young-min with Won Jong-hyun. KIA brought in Ko Jong-wook to hit for Kim Tae-gun. Ko Jong-wook hit a fly out to center.

In Place of Park Min, Han Jun-soo came in to bat. A wild pitch from the pitcher advanced the runner to third. Han Jun-soo hit a clutch single that sneaked past the first baseman to tie the game at 4-4.

In the 8th inning, Kiwoom's Lee Ju-hyeong attempted a surprise bunt to the first base side against KIA relief pitcher Jo Sang-woo but was called out at first.

Kiwoom requested a video review but the original call was upheld, resulting in an out. Following this, Kiwoom manager Hong Won-ki came out to appeal to the umpires. He was ejected for protesting the video review decision. After one out, Choi Joo-hwan reached base with a hit to right; however, Park Joo-hong's fly out to the second baseman and Eo Jun-seo's strikeout ended the inning.

In the 9th inning, KIA's lead-off hitter Kim Ho-ryeong reached base with a walk. Kim Kyu-sung's first pitch bunt foul followed by a ground out to the pitcher put one out and a runner on second. Han Jun-soo hit with a 3-ball count but flew out to center. Lee Chang-jin struck out, ending the inning.

With the score tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the 9th, KIA's closer Jeong Hae-young came to the mound. Kiwoom's lead-off hitter Kim Keon-hee reached scoring position with a double that soared over the right fielder's head. Song Ji-hoo attempted a bunt on the first pitch, which resulted in a foul, and was called out on a strike when he pulled back on the second pitch while in a bunting position. He was out on a fly to the second baseman on a 2-strike count.

Park Su-jong grounded out to the third baseman, and the runner did not advance. The runner on second, Kim Keon-hee, sprained his ankle slightly while attempting to return, and was replaced by pinch runner Yang Hyun-jong. With two outs and a runner on second, Song Seong-moon was out on a ground ball to the pitcher.

In the top of the 10th inning, KIA's Oh Seon-woo reached base with a hit to center field against Kiwoom relief pitcher Lee Jun-woo after one out. Choi Hyung-woo hit a single to right, creating a chance with runners on first and third. Wisdom faced a full count and struck out looking on a slider that caught the top of the zone. Choi Won-jun also struck out, swinging on a full count.

In the bottom of the 10th inning, KIA's relief pitcher Kim Hyun-soo came to the mound. The lead-off hitter Lim Ji-yeol reached base with a walk. Lee Ju-hyeong grounded out to first, putting one out with a runner on second due to a hit-and-run. Choi Joo-hwan walked on an automatic intentional walk. With one out and runners on first and second, Park Joo-hong hit into a ground out to the second baseman, forcing out the leading runner at second. With two outs and runners on first and third, Eo Jun-seo walked on an automatic intentional walk. With the bases loaded and two outs, Kim Dong-heon struck out swinging.
