Special rules will apply to the match between 'comedian' Yoon Hyung-bin (46, FREE) and '2 million eating broadcast YouTuber' Banz (35, Fighter 100).
Road FC will hold GBBNE ROAD FC 073 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on the 28th.
The main event will be the global tournament finals with a prize of 100 million won, featuring Oka (38, Jeon Wook-jin Multi Gym, Korean name Kim In-seong) and Kamil Magomedov (33, KHK MMA TEAM). Oka is a fighter who obtained Korean nationality and is a former member of the Mongolian boxing national team. Kamil is regarded as a strong contender for victory as Bahrain's top fighter. The winning fighter will claim the honor of victory along with the prize of 100 million won and the champion belt.
A special event match will be held in the last match. 'Comedian' Yoon Hyung-bin (46, FREE) and '2 million YouTuber' Banz (35, Fighter 100) will compete in a mixed martial arts match. Their match, which was made possible after Banz's call-out at the end of last year, is tied to the deletion of their YouTube channels.
The match between Yoon Hyung-bin and Banz will follow Road FC's official rules, but special rules will be applied since neither of them is a professional fighter. Elbow strikes will be prohibited. Due to the nature of their professions that require them to engage in broadcast activities, it was agreed to exclude elbow strikes for safety.
Road FC Chairman Jeong Moon-hong noted through his personal YouTube channel, Gaohyeong Life, "It has been decided that elbow strikes will not be allowed in the match between Yoon Hyung-bin and Banz. Both athletes have to focus on their entertainment careers, so we decided to exclude elbows."
In the video, Chairman Jeong Moon-hong provided news about the next competition. A tournament is scheduled to be held in Gyeongnam at the end of September.
Chairman Jeong Moon-hong said, "Recently trending movie star Kim Tae-in's first title defense match will be around the end of September. A special match between Yakuza Kim Jae-hoon and movie star Geum Kwang-san is expected to take place that day. It is planned to be held in Masan, Changwon, and Gimhae, and we will announce it again soon as arrangements are in progress."
Meanwhile, GBBNE ROAD FC 073 will be held at Jangchung Gymnasium from 2 p.m. on June 28, and will be broadcast live on SPOTV, SOOP, Kakao, and Daum Sports.
