SSG Landers broke their two-game losing streak. Noh Kyung-eun, at the age of 41, became the 18th player in history to achieve the highest age record for 100 holds.

SSG won a comeback victory over the Doosan Bears 4-1 in the '2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League' regular season game held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 26th. SSG escaped a two-game losing streak with a record of 37 wins, 35 losses, and 3 ties, while Doosan stayed at 30 wins, 43 losses, and 3 ties.

SSG's starting lineup included Choi Ji-hoon (center fielder), Eredia (left fielder), Choi Jeong (third baseman), Ko Myung-jun (first baseman), Han Yu-seom (designated hitter), Park Seong-han (shortstop), Ahn Sang-hyun (second baseman), Jo Hyung-woo (catcher), and Chae Hyun-woo (right fielder). Kim Gun-woo was the starting pitcher.

Doosan's starting pitcher was Cole Ervin. The starting lineup included Jung Soo-bin (center fielder), Oh Myung-jin (second baseman), Cave (right fielder), Yang Eui-ji (catcher), Kim Jae-hwan (designated hitter), Lee Yoo-chan (shortstop), Kim Min-seok (left fielder), Park Jun-soon (third baseman), and Kang Seung-ho (first baseman).

Doosan took the lead in the first inning. In the first inning, leadoff hitter Jung Soo-bin walked to get on base. Although Oh Myung-jin hit a ground ball to the pitcher, an error during the throw to second base allowed Jung Soo-bin to reach third base. However, Oh Myung-jin was out at second base. With one out and a runner on third, Cave hit a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring the first run.

In the second inning, Doosan created a one-out opportunity with Kim Jae-hwan's hit and Lee Yoo-chan's walk. Park Jun-soon hit a left field single, but the runner on second, Kim Jae-hwan, was tagged out at home. During this play, Kim Jae-hwan limped into the dugout with pain in his left thigh.

Afterward, Kang Seung-ho's single created a bases-loaded opportunity with two outs, but Jung Soo-bin's ground ball to the pitcher resulted in a missed scoring chance.

In the top of the fourth inning, SSG started their comeback. After one out, Han Yu-seom hit a single to right, and Park Seong-han followed with a hit to left-center, creating a one-out opportunity with runners on first and third. Ahn Sang-hyun's timely hit to left allowed them to tie the game at 1-1. After allowing a run, Doosan's bench quickly replaced Cole Ervin as they faced a crisis with one out and runners on first and second. They brought in Park Chi-guk, and the strategy worked successfully. Park Chi-guk struck out Jo Hyung-woo and once again struck out the pinch hitter Choi Jun-woo, overcoming the threat without allowing any additional runs.

However, SSG took the lead in the top of the sixth inning. After a lead-off double by Park Seong-han and a bunting single by Ahn Sang-hyun, they created an opportunity with no outs and runners on first and third. Jo Hyung-woo's timely hit to left field brought the score to 2-1. With a chance to advance the runners with a sacrifice bunt by Choi Jun-woo, Choi Ji-hoon's two-RBI timely hit extended the lead to 4-1.

SSG's starter Kim Gun-woo left the game after pitching 1⅔ innings, allowing 3 hits, 2 walks, recording 1 strikeout, and giving up 1 earned run (unearned). They activated the bullpen early, with Park Si-hu pitching 1⅓ innings, striking out 2 without allowing runs, Choi Min-joon pitching 2 innings with 1 walk and no runs, Lee Ro-un pitching 1 inning allowing 1 hit and striking out 1 without allowing runs, Kim Min pitching 1 inning striking out 1 and not allowing any runs, and Noh Kyung-eun pitching 1 inning, striking out 1 and not allowing runs. Noh Kyung-eun recorded a hold, achieving the highest age record for 100 holds.

The Doosan lineup struggled against SSG's strong bullpen. SSG's closer Jo Byeong-hyeon entered in the top of the ninth and finished the game perfectly.
