Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) will hold a T-ball one-day class and T-ball tournament through the 2025 Kids Club Future Baseball Day.

KBO explained that "the KBO Kids Club Future Baseball Day, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO), will conduct club-specific T-ball one-day classes and a club competition T-ball tournament for 20 children members of each club to enhance the benefits for child members and expand positive experiences in baseball to attract future fans," and it has been implemented since last year. The event started on the 14th with the Lotte Giants, followed by the Kiwoom Heroes on the 15th and the KIA Tigers on the 22nd at their home stadiums. Child members who participated in the event had the opportunity to learn the basics of baseball through safety education, fielding, and batting practice, and received various participant souvenirs such as T-ball equipment, t-shirts, and hats.

The T-ball class, which lasted about 4 hours, was made even more meaningful as legends Kim Dae-ryuk (former Lotte), Shin Jae-young (former Kiwoom), and Kim Jong-mo (former Haitai) came as legendary instructors to teach the participating children from each club. Additionally, to help children who dream of becoming baseball players or working in baseball gain useful information, club staff or legendary instructors also held career explanation sessions.

The T-ball one-day classes are scheduled to be held once per club, with KT Wiz hosting one this week on the 28th.

The Kids Club club competition T-ball tournament, in which 20 participants from each club's T-ball one-day class will participate as one team, is scheduled to be held at the Boeun KBO Baseball Center on September 6th. A retired player participating as a coach in the T-ball classroom will become the daily manager of each team.

In addition, plans are underway to enrich the tournament by arranging various programs, such as a home run king contest, in addition to the T-ball tournament.
