Hyundai Motor's 'The New Avante N TCR' also won at the global top-tier touring car competition '2025 TCR World Tour' Round 3. This is the second victory following Round 2.

Hyundai Motor's 'The New Elantra N TCR (domestic name: The New Avante N TCR)' crossed the finish line first at the '2025 TCR World Tour' Round 3 held at Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy from June 20 to 22 local time.

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza, where the TCR World Tour Round 3 took place, is one of the most historic circuits in the world, having opened in 1922. Known as the 'Temple of Speed,' it has many straight and hard braking sections, necessitating proficient speed control and teamwork due to frequent overtaking.

Norbert Michelisz, a driver for the 'BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse' team racing the New Elantra N TCR, won first place in the first final race held on the 21st, providing a valuable victory for the team. With the first final race win, Norbert Michelisz earned 30 points and combined with the 15 points earned in qualifying and the 20 points earned from finishing fourth in the second final race on the 22nd, he accumulated a total of 65 points, climbing to a tie for fifth place in the 2025 season driver standings.

Nestor Girolami, who competed alongside, finished sixth in the first final race and second in the second final race, earning a total of 41 points to tie Norbert Michelisz in fifth place in the season driver standings. Mikel Azcona earned a total of 24 points during this round, ranking him tenth in the season driver standings.

The BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team has maintained third place in the institutional sector ranking, having accrued a total of 274 points up to this round, thanks to the consistent performance of its drivers.

A representative from Hyundai Motor noted, "We are pleased to achieve good results again after the second round. Given the solid cooperation with the BRC racing team, all team members, including the drivers, have demonstrated excellent teamwork, and we will work hard to achieve good results in the remaining rounds."

The 4th round of the TCR World Tour will take place from July 4 to 6 at the 'Circuito Internacional de Vila Real' in Portugal.

The TCR World Tour is a 'Customer Racing' competition, where direct participation from manufacturers is prohibited, and professional racing teams that purchase manufacturer racing cars compete. The TCR series includes approximately 40 events worldwide, covering continental and national competitions, with a maximum of 650 drivers participating in each TCR series event. Among them, the TCR World Tour, the global top-tier event, consists of a total of eight rounds this year, starting with the season opener in Mexico, followed by Spain for Round 2, Italy for Round 3, and then races in Portugal, Australia, Korea, China, and Macau.
