On the 23rd, the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) will launch a public participation campaign utilizing social media to promote Olympic values and support for the bid to host the Jeonju Summer Olympics on 'Olympic Day.'

This campaign consists of three programs: AI content creation, a walking and running certification challenge, and a quiz event, all themed 'The next Olympics of Korea, created together with the people, walking and imagining together,' which anyone can easily and freely participate in.

The content contest 'Our Neighborhood Olympic Spot' utilizes AI image generation technology. Participants will create virtual Olympic scenes based on photos taken directly in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, or across the country, and post them on their personal Instagram accounts. This challenge aims to reflect national imagination and expectations for the Jeonju Summer Olympics and convey supportive messages for the upcoming Olympic bid. Submissions will be evaluated comprehensively based on engagement, creativity, and planning, and outstanding entries will receive prizes such as iPads and GoPros.

In addition, the certification challenge 'Towards the Olympics, Let’s Move!' will be operated, reflecting recent running trends. Participants can walk or run '6.23 km' to commemorate Olympic Day or '20.36 km' to support the Jeonju Summer Olympics bid and post their record certification photos on Instagram. Anyone can participate, including those walking casually or running with family and friends, and various prizes such as smartwatches and marathon entry tickets will be provided through a drawing among participants.

On June 23, Olympic Day, 30 participants who leave correct comments on the quiz content posted on the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) Instagram account will be randomly selected to receive gift coupons.

Detailed information on participation methods for each event, required hashtags, and prize application procedures can be found through the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) Instagram account.
