LG Twins will conduct a collaboration with Naver Webtoon "Maru the Dog" for the second time following last year.

"Maru the Dog" is a popular work that was serialized on Naver Webtoon from June 2022 to November 2024, focusing on the story of a dog named Maru who becomes a person, receiving great love from women in their 1020s.

LG Twins plan to launch various products and events during this collaboration period. In particular, a variety of "Friendly" collaborative products utilizing the character Maru will be released. This collaboration is the second series following the first project that received enthusiastic responses from fans last year, characterized by the slogan, "Baseball is not just a sport, it's a lifestyle," capturing the daily life of Maru, who has become a dedicated fan of LG Twins, through sensuous artwork. From enjoying baseball at the stadium to watching it at home, the depiction of Maru enjoying baseball in various ways is expected to offer fans special joy and collectible value.

The collaboration products will consist of a wide lineup of over 35 items, including uniforms, hats, baseballs, cheering goods, clothing, and plush dolls, prepared to cater not only to women in their 1020s but also to family fans across various age groups.

The products will be pre-released at the Twins Collab Shop starting June 26 (Thursday) at 3 p.m., and will be available at a popup store set up at the outfield catchball area of Jamsil Baseball Stadium from June 27 (Friday) to June 29 (Sunday). After the popup store operation, sales are expected to continue at the first base inner store of the Twins Collab Shop.

An official from LG Twins noted, "Thanks to the great love from fans for last year's collaboration, we prepared even more abundantly this year," adding, "We hope to provide a special experience for both baseball fans and "Maru the Dog" fans. We wish that the 'Friendly' products featuring Maru's story, who has become a member of LG Twins this season, will serve as an opportunity for the club and fans to become even closer."

Meanwhile, to commemorate this collaboration, an event called "Return of the Invincible Maru Day" will take place during the weekend three-game series against the Kia Tigers from June 27 (Friday) to June 29 (Sunday).
