Tottenham has set the transfer fee for Son Heung-min (33, Tottenham) at £25 million (approximately 46.2 billion won), local media reported.

Football Insider in the UK reported on the 10th (Korea time), 'If the club receives a transfer offer for Son Heung-min, it can negotiate without excluding the opinion of the new manager Thomas Frank.'

The media explained that this is at least for a £25 million transfer fee.

Son Heung-min, who has established himself in the Premier League, has shown signs of declining performance recently. As he turns 33 next month, his struggles are interpreted as a natural aging curve.

Son Heung-min scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in 46 matches during the 2024-2025 season.

The contract period between captain Son Heung-min and Tottenham runs until June 2026.

With only one year left on his contract, transfer rumors surrounding Son Heung-min have not ceased. Saudi Arabian clubs, along with Turkey's Fenerbahçe and Germany's Bayer Leverkusen, are emerging as strong candidates for his next destination.

Financial expert Stefan Borson noted through Football Insider, 'The scenario of Son Heung-min transferring to Saudi Arabia is quite realistic. £25 million is a reasonable level considering his age and salary. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy may also welcome this offer.'

Borson also predicted, 'Son Heung-min is a player with significant expense within the club. It is uncertain whether he can perform at the same level next season. There are not many clubs that can afford his salary level outside of Saudi Arabia.'

From Tottenham's perspective, Son Heung-min's transfer is likely to weaken their position in the Asian market.

Nevertheless, Borson pointed out, 'It would be a mistaken choice to keep Son Heung-min as merely a commercial asset. Based on performance criteria, it may be time to discuss a separation.'

Son Heung-min is set to participate in a preseason friendly against Arsenal in Hong Kong on July 31. He is also expected to feature in the Coupang Play Series against Newcastle United at Seoul World Cup Stadium on August 3.

'BBC' forecasted, 'The participation of Son Heung-min affects the club's revenue. Therefore, Tottenham may temporarily delay his transfer.'

'Football London' also claimed, 'It would be difficult for Tottenham to conduct the match in Korea without Son Heung-min. The club would not want to see a decline in revenue within Korea. As a result, the announcement regarding his status may be postponed until after the tour.'

'Uncomfortable coexistence' is something that Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) also experienced in the past.

Kane, who is set to transfer to Bayern Munich before the 2023-2024 season, also participated in Tottenham's summer tour but avoided media contact and maintained silence at official events. 'Football London' reported, 'Kane participated in the team schedule but refrained from mentioning the transfer, given the circumstances.'
