An unexpected clash, at least the misunderstanding has been cleared. However, Park Jin-man, the manager of the Samsung Lions, was full of complaints about the umpiring crew and mentioned what he hoped for.

Park Jin-man spoke his mind about the argument between Kang Min-ho and the umpiring crew and the disappointing decisions made by the crew before the game against the Lotte Giants on the 21st at Sajik Stadium in Busan.

In the previous game, Samsung lost 1-3. Well-hit balls were caught straight to the fielders, and chaotic situations ensued, preventing a turnaround in the game. Additionally, after allowing a solo home run to Jung Hoon in the bottom of the 8th, there was an argument between catcher Kang Min-ho and first base umpire Cha Jung-gu. Kang Min-ho reacted strongly, while teammates and coaches tried to restrain him. It was an unusual display of anger from Kang Min-ho.

Circumstantially, it seemed that Kang Min-ho's complaints exploded regarding the check swing call before Jung Hoon's home run. There were no consequences such as ejection, and the game concluded.

Park Jin-man explained, "Kang Min-ho was sensitive regarding the check swing call. It seems that those issues were on his mind even until the next at-bat. Additionally, after the check swing call, a home run resulted, so it appears Min-ho, who is competitive, reacted sensitively."

He added regarding the ongoing controversy over the umpires' check swing calls, "The umpires will likely pay attention to such matters, but there may be a need to improve the accuracy of check swing calls. That way, trust can be restored between players and umpires, leading to a better atmosphere. There was disappointment in that regard."

According to the Samsung club, Kang Min-ho met not after the game, but on the day of the 21st prior to the game to clarify their misunderstandings. Kang Min-ho and umpire Cha Jung-gu were born in 1985, making them peers.

However, there was a separate situation where Park Jin-man expressed disappointment and voiced complaints. He raised his voice regarding the ground maintenance conducted before the top of the 6th inning. The rain had been intensifying during the previous game. Yet, after all the cleaning time had passed at the bottom of the 5th, when players were returning to the field, the umpiring crew instructed for ground maintenance again. The game was delayed for about 7 minutes due to the maintenance.

Regarding this scene, he remarked, "Why is there a cleaning time? Isn’t that time created for ground maintenance? But what were they doing during the cleaning time, to instruct for ground work then? Honestly, I couldn’t understand that. In a situation where a heavy downpour could occur at any moment, it was inevitable that misunderstandings could arise when players went out to prepare for the game and were sent back in. I believe umpires also need to operate in a way that doesn't invite misunderstandings from the opposing team."
