The condition of Yoon Dong-hee, an outfielder for the Lotte Giants, is gradually improving.

Lotte said on the 20th, "Yoon Dong-hee underwent an examination at the Giants Hospital on the 19th, and the partial muscle damage in his left thigh is at 80% recovery," adding, "We will gradually proceed with rehabilitation exercises and strength training, and upper body skill training is scheduled to begin in one week."

There is still no exact timeline for his return. The team added, "We will conduct additional gradual assessments in two weeks and check the game participation schedule."

On the 5th, Yoon Dong-hee experienced pain in his left thigh during a game against Kiwoom. Afterward, he underwent a thorough examination and was diagnosed with muscle damage.

Yoon Dong-hee has recorded a batting average of .299 with 4 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 34 runs scored over 53 games this season. He struggled early in the season and spent time in the minor leagues, but has since showcased his hitting ability after returning from the minors, contributing strength to the team.

It appears difficult for him to return during the first half of the season. However, if his recovery progresses quickly, he will undoubtedly be an asset to the injury-plagued Lotte lineup.

Lotte manager Kim Tae-hyoung explained the situation of the injured players, saying, "Yoon Dong-hee probably won't make it back for the first half. The same goes for Hwang Seong-bin," adding, "I’m not sure about Jang Du-seong, but it seems Na Seung-yeop will be able to return around next week."
