The KXO 3x3 Seoul-Sinchon Light Quest, where top teams from both domestic and international backgrounds compete in the 'real 3x3', will be held in the heart of Seoul.

KXO (Korea 3x3 Basketball Federation) will hold the 'NH Nonghyup Bank 2025 KXO 3x3 Seoul-Sinchon Light Quest' on the 21st and 22nd at a specially set-up court in front of the Hyundai Department Store Sinchon branch. This tournament is organized and overseen by Seocho-gu (Mayor Lee Seong-heon), the Seocho District Sports Council, and the Seocho Basketball Association, and is sponsored by NH Nonghyup Bank, NH All-One Bank, POSCO, Wilson, Korea Welding Rod Company, Ringty, and Olbareun Seoul Hospital.

In May, KXO, which held the NH Nonghyup Bank FIBA 3x3 Hongcheon Challenger 2025 and the Hongcheon Light Quest in succession, has moved its venue to Seoul to hold this tournament. Teams from overseas, including Valencia (Spain), Kunming (China), Sagamihara (Japan), Jump Shot (Singapore), TGP (Japan), and Singapore have confirmed their participation, while Korea will see Yonsei University, Dongguk University, and Seoul (Cosmo) competing in fierce matches.

In particular, the Seoul-Sinchon Light Quest, an international 3x3 tournament held in the heart of Seoul, is expected to evoke nostalgia as it takes place in Sinchon, once known as the mecca of street basketball.

The teams participating in this tournament are impressive.

Lorezon Thirouaru Sampson, a former member of the French U21 and U23 men's 3x3 national teams, will participate in this tournament with China's Kunming team, while Singapore's Jump Shot, composed of former national players from Austria, Greece, Hungary, and Slovenia, is aiming for the championship. Notably, Jump Shot finished as runner-up in the previous Hongcheon Light Quest and is eager to redeem itself in this tournament.

Yonsei University and Dongguk University stand out with their participation.

Yonsei University, featuring young players such as Gu Seung-chae, Lee Byeong-yeob, Jang Hyuk-jun, and Kang Tae-hyun, is grouped in Pool A for the preliminaries and is set to face Spain's Valencia. As the tournament is held in their home turf of Sinchon, expectations are high for Yonsei University’s performance against Europe’s strong team, Spain.

Dongguk University, which regrettably lost to Japan's TGP in the last KXO Yangpyeong STOP, has been grouped with TGP in Pool C for the preliminaries, seizing the opportunity to make up for the last tournament. Dongguk University will compete with Jang Chan, Kwon Min, Baek In-jun, and Park Dae-hyun in this tournament.

This tournament, which offers qualification for the FIBA 3x3 Beijing Tongzhou Challenger 2025 scheduled for October, is expected to showcase a whole new level of game play as top players from Europe, including France, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Austria, and Slovenia, will participate.

All matches of this tournament will be streamed live on YouTube, while the main matches will be recorded and broadcast on KBS N Sports on the 29th (Saturday) and 30th (Sunday). If it rains during the tournament period, the event will be moved to the Yonsei University gymnasium.
