The Korea Baseball Softball Association said, "In preparation for the 2025 Women's Softball Asia Cup, which will be held in Xi'an, China, from July 14 to July 20, the national softball team will depart for training camp in Tanba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on the 19th."

This training camp is planned with the purpose of maximizing players' game sense and improving competitive performance through friendly matches with various excellent universities and professional teams in Japan, a stronghold of softball. The national team is expected to engage in daily doubleheaders (two games) during the training period, continuing high-intensity training in preparation for the fierce international competition.

The national team will begin full-fledged practical training starting with a match against Pacific Rim University on the 20th, the day after they depart. On the 21st, they will play against Sonoda Gakuen University in Amagasaki, and on the same evening, they will attend a welcome event hosted by Tanba-Sasayama, where they will have time to interact with the local community.

On the 22nd, matches are scheduled against Pacific Rim University and Soshi Gakuen, and on this day, especially, there will be a friendly exchange event with elementary, middle, and high school players in Japan who dream of playing softball.

The team aims to contribute to the promotion of friendship between the two countries and to enhance the significance of sports cultural exchange. Following that, on the 23rd, they will play against Taisei Gakuin University, and on the 24th, they will face SG Holdings, a team in the Japan Women's Professional Softball League (JD League), as they improve their game sense and build teamwork through a high-intensity schedule of daily doubleheaders.

The national team plans to move to Jincheon National Training Center immediately after returning on the 25th, without rest, to conduct domestic training and friendly matches with excellent overseas softball teams, aiming for a medal at the Asia Cup.
