"Thank you very much! It’s hot out, so hang in there!".
Bucheon FC 1995 achieved a 3-1 come-from-behind victory against Seoul E-Land in the 16th round of the Hana Bank K League 2 2025 held at Bucheon Stadium on the 14th.
This victory allowed Bucheon to escape from a two-game losing streak, adding 3 points to their total, which now stands at 7 wins, 4 draws, and 5 losses, placing them 5th with a total of 25 points.
After the match against Seoul E-Land, Bucheon club staff headed to the area near Sinjungdong Station for dinner. They went to a popular gopchang restaurant, already famous among fans for being visited by Montanio.
However, they encountered an unexpected scene. Basani, who was excluded from the day's participation list, also visited Sinjungdong Station with his family, where he received a warm welcome from fans.
Fans who spotted Basani naturally requested autographs and photos. Although it was a somewhat unexpected situation, club officials at the scene cautiously monitored the situation for any unexpected developments.
However, fans approached politely, and a brief but warm meeting took place. Basani also responded with smiles to each one, and his family enjoyed the fans' applause in a relaxed atmosphere.
The audience that visited Bucheon Stadium that day numbered 3,440. In the fiercely competitive environment for fans in K League 2, Bucheon has been actively engaging in community-centered activities. Regularly, club officials seek out restaurants favored by Bucheon fans when selecting lunch spots or visit stores operated by fans to actively expand their connections with the local community.
After the match, fans in uniforms naturally flooded the streets of Bucheon, relishing the aftertaste of victory. Beyond merely watching a game, the connection between the club and fans is maintained in daily life.
Bucheon has already been nominated for the K League Fan-Friendly Club Award. In line with its identity as a civic club, it continues various social contribution activities. Recently, through the Match Ball DILLI program, it provided unique experiences for local children, and it is strengthening ties with the community through initiatives like the establishment of a promotional hall in Bucheon Stadium Station and support for vulnerable groups receiving dental care designated by the club.
Especially thanks to the thrilling come-from-behind victory against Seoul E-Land that day, fans could not hide their excitement even after the match, continuing to reminisce about the game.
A Bucheon official noted, "During the meal, a couple in uniforms handed over a drink, conveying a message of support. We politely declined, but they left with the warm words, 'Thank you very much, it’s hot out, so hang in there.' In response to such encouragement from fans, we will do our best moving forward."
Bucheon FC is practicing genuine companionship with fans inside and outside the stadium, establishing itself as a model example of a civic club.
