'Strong Hanwha' has become a reality again after 33 days.

The Hanwha Eagles defeated the LG Twins and claimed first place again after 33 days. Despite a 104-minute rain delay, Hanwha's batting lineup exploded and achieved a remarkable comeback victory.

Hanwha won 10-5 against LG at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on the 15th. Hanwha fell from a tie for first place to second after losing to Doosan on the 14th. They reclaimed first place after 33 days.

Hanwha was trailing 0-4 at first but tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the fourth. With four hits, two walks, and two errors by the LG infield after two outs, they succeeded in leveling the score.

Then, they took the lead 9-4 in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on first base in the bottom of the fifth, Roh Si-hwan's one-RBI double turned the score 5-4, leading to a 104-minute rain delay.

Hanwha then scored four more runs, extending their lead to 9-4, securing the momentum. Chae Eun-seong’s one-RBI hit, followed by Lee Do-yoon’s one-RBI double after two outs, Choi Jae-hun's one-RBI hit, and Lee Won-seok's one-RBI hit occurred in succession.

Roh Si-hwan ignited the celebration with a solo home run (his 15th of the season) in the eighth inning. Ahn Chi-hong simultaneously achieved 900 runs and 2,700 total bases.

On the mound, starting pitcher Moon Dong-ju returned after 21 days and allowed four runs on six hits, three walks, and five strikeouts over 3⅔ innings before being pulled early. He pitched perfectly until the second inning but gave up two runs in the third as his control faltered, and in the fourth, he allowed a two-RBI hit to Kim Hyun-soo with the bases loaded and two outs.

Afterward, Hwang Jun-seo recorded a relief win, allowing two hits in 1⅓ innings without giving up a run. Cho Dong-uk (⅔ innings), Park Sang-won (1 inning), Han Seung-hyeok (1 inning), Kim Beom-Su (⅓ inning), and Kim Jong-soo (1 inning, 1 run) followed in succession to prevent LG from making a comeback.

Manager Kim Kyung-moon noted, 'Although starter Moon Dong-ju allowed runs, he did not seem to have poor condition,' and added, 'After conceding runs, the batters concentrated and tied the game in the fourth, and they also created a big inning in the fifth, enabling us to take the momentum of the game.'

He continued, 'The entire team endured through yesterday's extra innings and today's rain-soaked game, and because they gave their best until the end, we were able to win.'

Manager Kim expressed his gratitude, saying, 'I would like to thank the fans who kept their seats and supported the players until the end, even in heavy rain.'
