"I was really disappointed in the Suwon-Incheon match."
Bucheon FC 1995 achieved a comeback victory of 3-1 against Seoul E-Land in the Hana Bank K League 2 2025 Round 16 at Bucheon Stadium on the 14th.
With this victory, Bucheon escaped a two-game losing streak and added 3 points, bringing their record to 7 wins, 4 draws, and 5 losses, totaling 25 points and ranking 5th.
Park Chang-jun, who recorded 2 goals and 1 assist on the day, led Bucheon’s victory through strong pressing. He intercepted passes from the opposing defense with strong pressing in the 63rd and 72nd minutes, scoring and contributing to Bucheon’s thrilling comeback victory.
After the match, Park Chang-jun said, "There was no victory in the last three games. Unlike in the Suwon-Incheon match, we were instructed to press from the front. Everyone performed their roles, and an opportunity came to me."
He continued, "When preparing for the Incheon and Suwon matches, I wanted to move as a team rather than pressing individually. However, I played from the back, and this time it was different. The coach also ordered a different tactic." He added, "Although such opportunities didn't arise in training situations, I always came out through image training even during rest."
After scoring from two interceptions, he said, "E-Land made another mistake. My good positioning also influenced the score."
Park Chang-jun explained, "It's really tough. It was tough from the first half. The team of Bucheon has many young players, and we always have to run a step ahead of the opposing team to overcome challenges. The coach often checks the distances we run while playing this style of soccer, so I'm running harder."
He also said, "Even though the score was 3-1, I didn’t let my guard down. I thought it was the easiest score to turn around. I concentrated intensely, and the result came out."
Meanwhile, Park Chang-jun said, "I was very stressed after finishing military service. However, I thoroughly conducted winter training. I took care of past games well. I couldn’t properly train during my military service. I worked in the morning and played soccer in the evening. It was really stressful, but after resolving everything, I gained momentum."
