The professional baseball team SSG Landers escaped a three-game losing streak with a thrilling 1-0 victory.

SSG defeated the Lotte Giants 1-0 in the '2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League' game held at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 15th. With this victory, SSG ended its three-game losing streak and finished the weekend series against Lotte with one win and one loss.

SSG's starting lineup included Choi Ji-hoon (center fielder), Jeong Jun-jae (second baseman), Guillermo Heredia (left fielder), Han Yoo-seom (designated hitter), Go Myung-jun (first baseman), Park Seong-han (shortstop), Jo Hyeong-woo (catcher), Kim Seong-wook (right fielder), and Seok Jeong-woo (third baseman). In the fifth inning, Jung Hoon in the top of the inning and Reyes in the sixth both recorded hits, but neither could convert them into scoring opportunities.

However, Go Seung-min hit a ground ball to the third baseman, and Reyes walked on an automatic intentional four balls. Jeon Jun-woo struck out flying out to center field, squandering the chance to tie the game.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, leadoff batter Jeong Jun-jae hit a double. Both Heredia and Han Yoo-seom struck out. Go Myung-jun reached base on a throwing error by the third baseman, creating a two-out, one on third base opportunity, but Park Seong-han hit a ground ball to the second baseman and failed to capitalize on the scoring chance. In the top of the ninth, Jo Byeong-hyeon finished the game cleanly with a three-up, three-down inning, sealing the victory.
