"The result and content are both the responsibility of the coach."
Seoul E-Land suffered a 1-3 comeback defeat against Bucheon FC in the Hana Bank K League 2 2025 Round 16 at Bucheon Sports Complex on the 14th.
With this defeat, E-Land remained in 4th place with 8 wins, 4 draws, and 4 losses, totaling 28 points.
E-Land's coach Kim Do-kyun expressed after the match, "I sincerely apologize to the fans who came all the way to the away game. It was an embarrassing match. There's nothing I can say except for that I'm sorry," adding, "The result and content are both the responsibility of the coach. The areas where we were not properly prepared have emerged, and it showed in the results. The coach must take responsibility. Rather than focusing on the mistakes that led to the goals we've conceded, the overall performance was not good. It was a game that made me think, 'Is this the football we are pursuing?' We need to create situations to control the overall game. We need to deeply consider game management and shape. This defeat should not cause the team to stagnate."
Regarding the comeback goal and the additional goal situation, Coach Kim explained, "Clearly, there were mistakes. I was not well prepared, and the players just followed. Even though we play football while considering the risks during buildup situations, it was a scene that should not have happened. Concentration is an issue, but I do not intend to blame anyone. I will prepare well to ensure that mistakes do not recur next time."
Coach Kim Do-kyun remarked, "Losing the ball too easily leads to physical difficulties. After 30 minutes in the first half, our stamina dropped, and overall changes were needed, but there were many difficulties. We should have maintained consistency throughout the 45 minutes. There were difficulties due to that impact."
