The Lotte Giants in professional baseball captured a nail-biting pitching duel and extended their winning streak to three games.

Lotte won 4-2 against the SSG Landers in the '2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League' at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 14th.

After a day of rest due to rain in the last game, Lotte's starting lineup included Son Ho-young (second base), Go Seung-min (first base), Víctor Reyes (right field), Jeon Jun-woo (left field), Kim Min-sung (third base), Jeon Min-jae (shortstop), Jung Hoon (designated hitter), Jeung Bo-keun (catcher), and Kim Dong-hyeok (center field). However, in the bottom of the fourth inning, leadoff hitter Heredia and Go Myung-jun hit consecutive singles, and Park Seong-han connected with a ground out to advance the runners, creating a 1 out, 2nd and 3rd base opportunity. Oh Tae-gon made a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 1-1. After Jo Hyung-woo walked, in a 2 out, 1st and 3rd situation, Kim Chan-hyung hit a ground ball to shortstop, squandering a chance to take the lead.

In the top of the 6th inning, with 2 outs, Go Seung-min drew a walk, and Reyes recorded a hit, creating a 2 out, 1st and 3rd base opportunity. Jeon Jun-woo delivered a 1-RBI single, giving the team the lead again. Kim Min-sung struck out.

In the bottom of the 6th inning, with 1 out, Go Myung-jun hit a double, and Park Seong-han got a hit, setting up a 1 out, 2nd and 3rd base opportunity. However, Oh Tae-gon hit a ground ball to the catcher, and Jo Hyung-woo struck out, failing to score.

In the top of the 8th inning, Lotte saw Kim Dong-hyeok's hit followed by Son Ho-young and Go Seung-min being retired. However, with Reyes' hit, in a 2 out, 1st and 3rd situation, Jeon Jun-woo's 1-RBI single and Kim Min-sung's 1-RBI single sealed the victory.

In the bottom of the 9th inning, SSG had a final opportunity as leadoff hitter Park Seong-han walked, and Oh Tae-gon hit a double, creating a none out, 2nd and 3rd base opportunity. After Jo Hyung-woo struck out, Jung Jun-jae hit a ground ball to the first baseman. However, the runners on 3rd and 2nd base got caught in a rundown, with the runner on 3rd scoring successfully while the runner on 2nd was tagged out, ending the game.
