Jeju United achieved a stunning comeback victory.

Jeju defeated Daegu FC 2-1 in the 18th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2025, held at Jeju World Cup Stadium on the 14th. With 22 points, Jeju moved up to 9th place. Daegu, with 12 points, is at the bottom.

Jeju native Kim Joo-kong scored the first goal for Daegu. In the 40th minute of the first half, Kim Joo-kong received a pass from Han Jong-moo and shot with his right foot for the opening goal. Kim Joo-kong did not celebrate against his former team.

Jeju struck back. The substitutions of Yuri Jonathan and Denilson at the start of the second half made the difference.

In the 67th minute, Nam Tae-hee's corner kick was headed down by Song Joo-hun. Jonathan pushed it in with his head to equalize.

In the 80th minute, Denilson, who received a pass from Lee Chang-min, scored the winning goal with a left-foot shot. Denilson registered his first goal since joining.
