Yujin Hong (25, Jeonnam), who was caught by police for drunk driving, will be punished.

The Korea Professional Football League announced on the 13th that it has imposed a 60-day suspension on Yujin Hong of Jeonnam Dragons, who was caught by police for drunk driving, prohibiting him from participating in official K League matches.

The league has prohibited Yujin Hong from participating in matches as an initial measure and plans to hold a disciplinary committee meeting to impose formal sanctions in the future.

'Suspension' is a measure to temporarily halt a person's K League-related activities for 60 days (extendable up to 90 days) in cases where it is difficult to assess the disciplinary committee on misconduct that causes social controversy or harms the value of the K League.
