The Doosan Bears of the Korean Professional Baseball League announced on the 13th that "they will perform the ceremonial first pitch to wish for victory in the regular season match against the Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 15th."
On that day, the ceremonial first pitch will be delivered by comedian Lee Soo-ji. According to Doosan, Lee has garnered great public love as a member of the cornerstone crew of the Coupang Play comedy show ‘SNL Korea’, and earlier this year, she played the role of a divorced Director Lee Soo-ji in the Coupang Play series ‘Office Workers’, leading to the show's popularity.
Additionally, she is providing great laughs to viewers with various characters on her YouTube channel 'Hot Issue Ji', which has approximately 800,000 subscribers.
Lee Soo-ji secured her place as a trend-setting comedian by winning the "Best Female Entertainment Award in the Broadcasting institutional sector" at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards in May.
