Prain Sports (CEO Kim Pyeong-gi) has signed a management contract with former national football team member Lee Geun-ho. As such, Lee Geun-ho plans to expand his career in various fields such as broadcasting and content activities, brand collaboration, and social contribution with Prain Sports.

Through this contract, Prain Sports is expected to take a step forward as a management corporation that adds value to the entire life of athletes, regardless of their sports or status as active players.

Prain Sports is currently recognized in the management field, working with leading golf players in Korea, including Lee Jeong-min, Ma Da-som, Lim Hee-jeong, Park Gyeol, Lim Jin-hee, and Oh Su-min. Recently, it has been supporting the career transitions and new leaps of retired athletes such as Kim Ha-neul (former professional golfer), Lee Dae-hoon (former national taekwondo athlete), and Kim Jun-hyun (former national skeleton athlete), growing as a partner for the entire cycle of sports life, beyond just performance management.

Lee Geun-ho's joining Prain Sports can also be seen as an extension of this trend. Lee Geun-ho, after making his professional debut with Incheon United in 2004, recorded 107 goals in 438 matches in the K League and 19 goals in 84 A matches for the national team, leading the golden era of Korean football. Even after retiring from Daegu FC in 2023, he is involved in a wide range of activities, including commentary, broadcasting, and football administration. In fact, he has been actively communicating with the public as a broadcaster through his roles as a commentator for Coupang Play, a director for SBS's 'She is So Goal,' and in the variety show 'Shooting Star Season 2.' He is also serving as the president of the Korea Professional Footballers Association, demonstrating leadership both inside and outside the football community.

Kim Pyeong-gi, CEO of Prain Sports, said, "Lee Geun-ho is a rare individual who possesses the symbolism of a sports career, broadcasting sense, and a public role." He added, "While his career as an active player has ended, an athlete's impact never stops," stating, "The path he has walked can inspire the next generation and become content for the public. There is limitless value that can be delivered through an athlete like Lee Geun-ho."

Lee Geun-ho noted, "While my career as an athlete has ended, I believe the stage for sharing the experiences and values I have accumulated within that is just beginning. I want to communicate with the public in a new way while preserving the pride of being a football player alongside Prain Sports."
