The KBO League's LG Twins defended their top position by defeating the SSG Landers.

LG achieved a 6-3 comeback victory against SSG in a match held at Seoul's Jamsil Stadium on Nov. 11, 2025. They won in a battle of bullpens. Kim Hyun-soo hit the decisive comeback hit, and Austin delivered a crucial two-run home run.

LG's starting pitcher Hernandez left the game without a win or loss, pitching 4⅔ innings (98 pitches) with 7 hits allowed, 1 walk, 1 hit by pitch, 6 strikeouts, and 3 earned runs. Kim Jin-sung pitched 1⅓ scoreless innings, Park Myeong-geun pitched 1 scoreless inning, Kim Young-woo allowed 1 earned run in ⅔ innings, and Jang Hyun-sik recorded a save (9 saves) after pitching 1⅓ scoreless innings for the first time in a month.

SSG's starting lineup included Choi Ji-hoon (center fielder), Eredia (left fielder), Choi Jung (designated hitter), Han Yoo-seom (right fielder), Ko Myung-jun (first baseman), Park Sung-han (shortstop), Lee Ji-young (catcher), Jeong Jun-jae (second baseman), and Kim Chan-hyang (third baseman). LG's starters included Shin Min-jae (second baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left fielder), Austin (first baseman), Moon Bo-gyeong (designated hitter), Moon Sung-ju (right fielder), Lee Ju-heon (catcher), Gu Bon-hyeok (shortstop), Lee Young-bin (third baseman), and Park Hae-min (center fielder). Park Dong-won was on standby as a designated hitter due to a slight issue with his ankle.

SSG scored first in the top of the second inning. Lead-off hitter Han Yoo-seom reached base with a single to left field. Although Ko Myung-jun struck out, Park Sung-han walked, putting runners on first and second. Lee Ji-young struck out for the second out. A wild pitch during Jeong Jun-jae's at-bat advanced the runners to second and third. Jeong Jun-jae hit a single in front of the left fielder, bringing the runner from third home. With two outs and runners on second and third, Kim Chan-hyang was out on a fly ball to right field.

LG took the lead in the second inning. With two outs, they created a chance from the lower part of the batting order. Gu Bon-hyeok hit a single to center field with White's fastball (151 km/h). Lee Young-bin targeted White's fastball (149 km/h) and hit a long ball to right-center.

The right fielder attempted to cut it off but failed, as the ball rolled to the warning track in front of the fence. The center fielder caught it and made a relay play, but the runner at first reached home, scoring a point. The batter-runner, Lee Young-bin, advanced to third base, recording an RBI triple.

Park Hae-min walked to reach base, putting runners on first and third. Shin Min-jae hit a timely single that slipped past the first baseman, turning the score around to 2-1. With runners on first and third, Kim Hyun-soo struck out.

SSG rallied again in the fifth inning. With one out, Choi Ji-hoon reached base with an infield single that rolled past the pitcher. Eredia's single to right put runners on first and third. Choi Jung reached base on a hit-by-pitch, creating a bases-loaded situation with one out.

Han Yoo-seom struck out swinging on a high fastball. With two outs and the bases loaded, Ko Myung-jun's hit struck the third base and went to left field for a double, allowing two runners to score and turning the score around to 3-2. LG replaced starter Hernandez with relief pitcher Kim Jin-sung. Kim Jin-sung retired Park Sung-han on a foul fly to third base, preventing further scoring.

In the sixth inning, LG's lead-off hitter Moon Bo-gyeong walked to reach base. Moon Sung-ju hit a single in front of the left fielder, putting runners on first and second with no outs. Lee Ju-heon switched from a bunting stance to a strong swing, hitting a ground ball to the third baseman, advancing the runners to second and third.

SSG replaced starter White with Ryu Kyung-eun as a relief pitcher. SSG's infield shifted to a defensive position, but when Gu Bon-hyeok hit a ground ball to the shortstop, the runner from third crossed home plate to tie the game at 3-3. With two outs and a runner on third, Park Dong-won came in to hit for Lee Young-bin, but the inning ended as he hit a ground ball to the first baseman.

In the seventh inning, LG's lead-off hitter Park Hae-min reached base with a single to right field against the new pitcher Ryu. Shin Min-jae failed to execute a sacrifice bunt after two foul attempts on the first ball. On the fourth pitch, runner Park Hae-min successfully stole second base. Subsequently, Shin Min-jae was out on a ground ball to the second baseman, leaving one out and a runner on third. Kim Hyun-soo hit a timely single that pierced through the infield, putting LG ahead 4-3.

With one out and a runner on first, Austin hit a two-run home run (his 19th of the season) over the left field fence on a full count, crushing Ryu's fastball (148.6 km/h). The ball's speed was 164.1 km/h, with an angle of 30 degrees, covering a distance of 123.2 meters.

In the top of the eighth inning, Kim Young-woo took the mound as the relief pitcher. SSG's Ko Myung-jun reached base with a single to right field with one out. On Park Sung-han's ground ball to the second baseman, the lead runner was out, leaving two outs with a runner on first.

In Lee Ji-young's at-bat, Oh Tae-gon came in to hit. Oh Tae-gon hit a double to left-center off Kim Young-woo's fastball (152 km/h), narrowing the gap to 6-4. With two outs and a runner on second, LG replaced Jang Hyun-sik as the pitcher again. Jang Hyun-sik allowed Jeong Jun-jae to walk but retired the pinch hitter Choi Jun-woo on a ground ball to the first baseman, preventing SSG from narrowing the gap further.

Jang Hyun-sik, who threw 12 pitches in the eighth, continued into the ninth. He struck out Choi Ji-hoon and allowed a single to Eredia. Choi Jung hit a solid ball, but left fielder Kim Hyun-soo made a spectacular diving catch. SSG requested video review, but the original call stood as an out.

When Han Yoo-seom hit a single to center, the runner on first overran second base and hurriedly returned when the center fielder threw the ball in. The call was safe. LG requested a video review, but the call was upheld. Jang Hyun-sik ended the game by retiring Jo Hyung-woo on a pop-up to the second baseman.
