Suwon FC plans to make the upcoming 18th round match against FC Anyang on the 14th at Suwon Sports Complex a 'revenge match.'
Suwon FC unveiled a special match poster with the concept of 'Raccoon Hunting' ahead of this home game. This is inspired by FC Anyang's mascot, the raccoon, and embodies the desire for revenge after the defeat in the away match last April. In the away game held at Anyang Sports Complex at that time, Suwon FC lost 1-3, leaving them disappointed, and prior to the match, a social media promise contest was conducted between Suwon FC owner Lee Jae-jun, the mayor of Suwon, and Max Yoo, the mayor of Anyang, where Mayor Lee wore an Anyang uniform.
Therefore, this home game will reflect the strong will of Suwon FC and the city of Suwon to wash away the pain of the previous defeat and achieve victory for revenge.
The match will also serve as a naming day for 'Hummel,' the official kit sponsor that has been with Suwon FC for 12 years since 2014. Before the game, there will be a sponsorship contract signing ceremony with Hummel, and the children of Hummel employees will participate as escort kids. Various events will be organized during halftime, including 'Surun's birthday celebration' and a Hummel quiz event. Additionally, various programs for fans, such as the Korea Shopping Booth, MD Sales Office, and a Boo-Ma-Bul K League edition experience zone, will be operated.
The clash of pride between Suwon FC and Anyang, and the beginning of revenge in this 'Raccoon Hunting' match will be available for reservation through Interpark starting June 11 at 2 p.m.
