Professional baseball team LG Twins has signed Coach Kang Dong-woo as the hitting coach for the second team.
LG announced on the 10th, ahead of the '2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League' game against the SSG Landers held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, that it has newly signed Coach Kang Dong-woo to strengthen the development of second team hitters.
Coach Kang Dong-woo graduated from Kyungbuk High School and Dankook University, and after joining the Samsung Lions in 1998, continued his playing career with Doosan, Hanwha, and KIA. After retiring, he transitioned to coaching and served as a coach with the Doosan Bears until 2022 and then as the hitting coach for the Hanwha Eagles from 2023 to 2024, guiding players.
Coach Kang Dong-woo joined the Icheon Champions Park on June 10.
