A new face joins.

Daegu FC announced on the 9th that they have signed forward Kim Joo-kong (29) from Jeju SK FC.

Kim Joo-kong is a versatile attacking player capable of playing on the flanks as well as in the center, based on agile movements and a solid physique. He features sharp penetrations, aggressive dribbling, energetic activity, and committed defensive participation, all of which invigorate team play. Daegu expects that Kim Joo-kong's joining will inject vitality into their stagnant offensive development and provide a clue to improving their scoring ability.

Kim Joo-kong made his K League debut in 2019 with Gwangju FC, contributing to the team's promotion and establishment in K League 1. After moving to Jeju in 2022, he played in 75 matches until the first half of 2025 and performed as a key player. He proved his fitness by returning from a cruciate ligament injury in the 2024 season, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist in 9 matches, and he also contributed to the team's survival. This season, he has appeared in 7 matches for Jeju, with a total of 145 K League matches, recording 21 goals and 12 assists.

Assigned the jersey number 77, Kim Joo-kong expressed, “I am happy to meet the Daegu fans in a good stadium. I will dedicate myself and repay with helpful plays.”

After completing a medical test at the official designated hospital of Daegu FC, Udeum Hospital, Kim Joo-kong will finalize his player registration process and join team training to quickly get in sync.
