Tottenham is considering selling legend Son Heung-min (33, Tottenham) if they receive a substantial offer.

A warning has emerged that Daniel Levy, chairman of Tottenham, may cut Son Heung-min as the next target after manager Ange Postecoglou. Tottenham Hotspur News reported, “There are claims that after Ange Postecoglou, Son Heung-min could be next. Recently, rumors about Son Heung-min's transfer have persisted. Reports have surfaced that the star from Korea could move to Saudi Arabia. Tottenham would accept a large offer for the captain,” it reported on the 8th.

Tottenham has decided to rebuild the team with the money from selling Son Heung-min rather than honoring the legend. British media report that the possibility of Son Heung-min's transfer is high.

Former Tottenham scout Brian King mentioned in an interview with Tottenham News that “Tottenham has no qualms about accepting a £100 million (about 110 billion won) offer for Son Heung-min,” referencing the possibility of his transfer.

Chairman Levy is making decisions unilaterally. The sudden dismissal of manager Ange Postecoglou was also driven by Levy's will. If he decides to let go of Son Heung-min, it seems there will be no turning back.

On the 7th, Tottenham announced the dismissal of Postecoglou through the club's official website. Tottenham stated, “We announce that Postecoglou has been dismissed from his duties. Winning the UEFA Europa League this season was one of the most glorious moments, but we cannot make decisions based on emotions. We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Chairman Levy is said to have visited the Bahamas to meet with representatives of the Luis family, the largest shareholders of Tottenham, and obtained permission for the dismissal of manager Postecoglou. After that, Levy made the decision unilaterally.

Following Postecoglou's dismissal, Son Heung-min expressed his gratitude on social media. Son Heung-min said, “The manager entrusted me with the captaincy. It was the greatest honor of my career. It was truly a great honor to learn from the manager's leadership up close. Thanks to the manager, I have become a better player and a better person. You are the eternal legend of Tottenham Hotspur.”

If Tottenham transfers Son Heung-min, there will be significant backlash. Tottenham Hotspur News stated, “Many fans will be shocked at the thought of losing Son Heung-min. Despite his declining physical condition, he contributed to the UEFA Europa League victory. There were moments when he scored 23 goals to become the Premier League's top scorer. However, chairman Levy will not miss the last opportunity to secure a large amount by selling Son Heung-min,” emphasizing Levy's decision.
