The defending champion Heo Jeong-han will participate in the '2025 Ankara Three-Cushion World Cup,' which will open on the 9th.

SOOP announced that it will exclusively broadcast the 2025 Ankara Three-Cushion World Cup, which will be held from 5 p.m. on the 9th (Korea time) until the 15th. This event is hosted by the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) and organized by the Confederation Européenne de Billard (CEB).

This tournament is the third in the three-cushion World Cup series held this year. A total of 14 seeded players and 18 players who qualified will compete in the main round of 32.

The seeded players include Dick Jaspers (Netherlands), Eddy Merckx (Belgium), Marco Zanetti (Italy), Tran Quyết Chiến (Vietnam), Sameh Sidhom (Egypt), Tayfun Tasdemir (Turkey), Heo Jeong-han and Cho Myung-woo (Korea), among other world-class players.

Initially ranked 8th in the event, Kim Jun-tae withdrew after advancing to the PBA Tour, and ranked 15th Tai Hong Chiem (Vietnam) was awarded the seed.

Korea will have a total of 8 players participating in the Ankara World Cup qualifiers. In the PPQ (Qualification Round 2), Kim Do-hyun will compete, while in the Q (Final Qualification), Kim Haeng-jik, Hwang Bong-joo, Cha Myung-jong, Seo Chang-hoon, and Kang Jae-in will participate, and seeded players in the round of 32 include Cho Myung-woo and defending champion Heo Jeong-han.

Notably, Heo Jeong-han continues to build momentum after finishing as the runner-up at the 'Ho Chi Minh World Cup' held last March, as he aims for a second consecutive victory in this tournament.

SOOPTV can be found on KT Genie TV channel 129, LG Uplus channel 120, SK BTV channel 234, D’Live channel 160, LG HelloVision channel 194, and Seogyeong Broadcasting channel 256.
