The outline of Tottenham's next manager has emerged.

Tottenham announced the dismissal of Postecoglou on its official website on the 7th. Tottenham stated, "We announce that Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties. Winning the UEFA Europa League this season is one of the greatest moments, but we cannot make decisions based on emotions. We wish him well for the future."

Chairman Daniel Levy made the decision. Levy visited the Bahamas to meet with representatives of the club's largest shareholder, the Lewis family, and is said to have received permission for Postecoglou's dismissal. Subsequently, Levy made the decision unilaterally.

Who will be the successor to Coach Postecoglou? According to a report by ESPN, it is a two-way race between Brentford's Thomas Frank and Fulham's Marco Silva. Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola is also among the candidates.

Frank is the key figure in Brentford's promotion during the 2020-21 season. Last season, Brentford finished 10th in the Premier League. Silva also has experience promoting Fulham in the 2021-22 season. Fulham placed 11th last season. Iraola ranked the highest among the three coaches, leading Bournemouth to 9th place.
