"There were difficulties at first, but I focused more and prepared when the chances came."

NC Dinos' captain Park Min-woo (infielder) demonstrated his ability to resolve problems by achieving a personal single-game record for most RBIs.

On the 7th, Park Min-woo started as the 3rd baseman in an away game against the Samsung Lions at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. In the first inning, with one out and a runner on third, Park Min-woo scored the first run with a sacrifice fly to center field. He was retired on a flyout to center field in the 3rd inning and made it to first base with a single in the 4th inning before being out on a ground ball to second base in the 6th.

Park Min-woo transformed into an RBI machine. In the 7th inning, with two outs and the bases loaded, he brought home Kim Hyung-joon and Cheon Jae-hwan with a single. After two consecutive hits from Kim Hwi-jip and Kim Ju-won in the 9th inning, when there were two outs and runners on first and second, he hit a triple to record his fifth RBI.

Park Min-woo delivered a one-man show with 3 hits and 5 RBIs in 5 at-bats, stating, "There were difficulties at first, but I focused more and prepared when the chances came." He added, "I achieved a personal single-game record for most RBIs, but it doesn't mean much to me. The part that helped the team win in tight situations holds greater significance for me."

He did not forget to express his gratitude to the fans. Park Min-woo said, "Personally, the tremendous support from the fans feels like a magical spell that allows me to concentrate more at the plate. I think we had good results in today's game thanks to the fans' magical spells."

Before the game, regarding his former teammate Kim Seong-wook (outfielder), who transferred to the SSG Landers, he expressed, "Finally, my former teammate Kim Seong-wook moved to another team. I want to say that it was nice to play baseball together at NC. I hope Kim Seong-wook can play his game fully at SSG."

National team infielder Kim Ju-won had his ups and downs during the game. He left something to be desired after a defensive error in the 2nd inning but hit a game-tying two-run homer in the 4th inning, finishing with 5 hits, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs in 6 at-bats. This was the first time Kim Ju-won recorded 5 hits in a game.

He remarked, "I made an error at a crucial moment early in the game and gave away a run. The game nearly became difficult, but I was able to concentrate and overcome it." He added, "It was my first time getting 5 hits. I am glad to contribute to the team's victory."

The advice from coach Lee Ho-jun, a prominent hitting coach, greatly helped Kim Ju-won. He stated, "Recently, the coach advised me to feel as if I am hitting from my position by keeping my focus behind. I am grateful for the helpful guidance."

The NC Dinos won 11-7 after a slugfest with Samsung. Starting pitcher Shin Min-hyuk had a rough outing, allowing 3 hits (1 home run), 1 walk, and 6 runs (2 earned) in 1⅔ innings. Following him, Lim Jung-ho, Han Jae-seung (both ⅔ innings), Son Joo-hwan (2 innings), Kim Jin-ho (1⅓ innings), Bae Jae-hwan (1⅔ innings), and Ryu Jin-wook (1 inning) gave up just 1 run collectively. Among the hitters, the performances of Park Min-woo, Kim Ju-won, and foreign hitter Matt Davidson stood out. Davidson hit a home run for the fourth consecutive game, recording 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs in 5 at-bats.

Manager Lee Ho-jun said, "We had a tough start with an early run given up. It was a challenging flow, but the pitchers who came in later fulfilled their roles and brought the game's momentum to our side. Despite the fierce slugfest between both teams, the hitters showed persistence inning after inning, which allowed us to win. It was a victory made by the entire team coming together with high focus."
