The Doosan Bears of the Korea Professional Baseball successfully sold out all games in a six-game series against the KIA Tigers and Lotte Giants.
The Doosan Bears achieved a sellout in their ninth season matchup against the Lotte Giants in the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League, held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 8th.
According to a representative of the home team Doosan, all 23,750 seats at Jamsil Stadium were sold out as of 3:43 p.m., about 1 hour and 20 minutes before the game started (5 p.m.). This marked the 18th consecutive home game sellout for Doosan.
Doosan sold out all games during their three-game series against the KIA Tigers from the 3rd to the 5th, followed by another three-game series against Lotte on the 6th to the 8th. With the popular teams KIA and Lotte in a six-game home series, a strong turnout was expected. The home series coincided with public holidays, including presidential election day on the 3rd and Memorial Day on the 6th, leading to six consecutive sellouts at home. Over the course of the week, a total of 142,500 spectators visited Jamsil Stadium.
Additionally, the arrival of fans supporting interim manager Cho Sung-hwan, who took over following Lee Seung-yeop's voluntary resignation, continued without interruption.
Meanwhile, the Doosan team holds the record for the most consecutive sellout games at eight. This record was achieved from May 17, 2012, in a game against the Hanwha Eagles to May 29 in a game against KIA.
The Doosan Bears, who will travel to Daejeon for an away game from the 10th to the 12th, will aim for their seventh consecutive sellout against the Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil on the 13th.
