NC Dinos' Matt Davidson hit home runs in four consecutive games, showcasing the prowess of last year's home run king.

Davidson started as the designated hitter batting fourth in the game against Samsung at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on the 7th. He contributed to the victory with 2 hits and 1 home run in 5 at-bats, driving in 2 runs and scoring 2.

In the 1st inning, he issued a sacrifice fly from Park Min-woo to score the first run, and after 2 outs, Davidson drew a walk to reach base. Following this, consecutive hits from Park Gun-woo and Son Ah-seop allowed them to score.

NC gave up a three-run home run to Samsung's Diaz in the bottom of the 1st inning, and in the bottom of the 2nd, they committed 3 errors, widening the score gap to 2-6.

In the 3rd inning, with 1 out and a runner on 1st, Davidson hit a two-run home run over the center field wall off Samsung's starting pitcher Reyes's first pitch fastball (143 km). The ball traveled an impressive distance of 135 meters.

In the 4th inning, at a 6-6 tie and with 2 outs and a runner on 1st, he hit a single to right field. The following batter was unable to capitalize on the opportunity, grounding out. In his next three at-bats, he struck out in the 6th inning with 1 out and runners on 3rd, popped out to left field with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd in the 8th, and grounded out in the 9th inning with 2 outs and a runner on 3rd.

Davidson is on a recent streak of home runs in four consecutive games. On the 4th, he hit a solo home run against LG, followed by another solo home run on the 5th, another solo home run against Samsung on the 6th, and then a two-run home run on this day.

Davidson has had a limited number of games due to injuries, having been on the injured list twice for back pain in mid-April and hamstring issues in mid-May.

On the 4th against LG, Kim Hyung-jun hit a home run alongside Davidson and, in response to being told he was the team leader in home runs, smiled and said, 'Since Davidson has missed some games, I’m still first for now. Davidson should hit over 30, maybe even 40.'

Davidson then hit home runs in four consecutive games. He surpassed Kim Hyung-jun (11 home runs) to become the team leader in home runs with 12. He has also been in good form, recording multi-hit games in all four consecutive games.

Since returning from injury, he has recorded a batting average of .389 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs in 10 games. His season statistics include a batting average of .336 (44 hits in 131 at-bats), 12 home runs, 34 RBIs, a slugging percentage of .656, and an OPS of 1.043 over 39 games.

He is tied for 4th place in the home run category. There is quite a gap from 1st place Diaz (24 home runs). Statistically, Davidson has the potential to hit around 35 home runs.
