Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (hereinafter referred to as Jeonbuk Hyundai) has created a garden in Jeonju Hanok Village in collaboration with the city of Jeonju and the non-profit organization "The Forest."
Jeonbuk Hyundai contributed to the beautiful garden project taking place in Jeonju's famous Hanok Village to repay the love received from the citizens of Jeonju.
The garden project, which officially began with a donation ceremony on May 17, was finally completed on the 28th, showcasing its beautiful form.
The garden was established at a total of five locations: Choi Myung-hee Literature Museum Road, Jeonju Dongheon, Jeonju Crafts Exhibition Hall courtyard, traditional garden next to Jeonju Crafts Exhibition Hall, and Jang Hyun-sik's old house.
The gardens created this time were born as a space for healing and communication that can be enjoyed not only by Jeonbuk Hyundai fans but also by the citizens of Jeonju and tourists.
Jeonbuk Hyundai stated that by creating a garden in Hanok Village, a special commemorative space for fans and contributions to the local community outside the stadium have been established.
Jeonbuk Hyundai participated in this project by donating 60 million won to Jeonju City for the creation of the garden.
The donation was created from last year's revenue generated through merchandise and uniform sales on the online auction platform Collex, and will be used for the maintenance of the garden creation, including the garden cultural walking program.
Meanwhile, the donation ceremony for the "Jeonju Hanok Village Garden Creation" was held on the 17th at Jeonju World Cup Stadium, attended by Jeonju Mayor Woo Beom-ki, Director General Lee Dohyun, and representatives such as Jeong Myung-woon from the non-profit organization "The Forest."
