Seoul E-Land FC has signed left-footed fullback Bae Seo-jun, a key player in the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup semifinals.
The 173 cm left-footed fullback Bae Seo-jun has strengths in precise ball control and quick speed, enabling clever passing plays that utilize teammates even under pressure. Despite being a defender, his ability to contribute to attacks is expected to inject new vitality into Seoul E-Land's offensive play. His jersey number is 23.
Bae Seo-jun joined Daejeon Hana Citizen in 2022 after passing through Hanyang Middle School and Cheonan City High School, where he dominated the high school stage with Pyeongtaek Jinwi FC. In 2023, he stood out in age-group national teams. Notably, he participated in every match as a key player in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, contributing to Korea's first consecutive semifinals appearance in the U-20 World Cup.
In the first half of last year, while with Daejeon Hana Citizen, he played in 11 matches, providing 1 assist, and was loaned to K League 2's Suwon Samsung during the summer transfer window, where he scored 1 goal and made 2 assists in 16 matches, continuing his steady growth.
Bae Seo-jun, who returned to Daejeon Hana Citizen this season, joins Seoul E-Land as they challenge for promotion.
Bae Seo-jun said, "When I faced Seoul E-Land last year, I was very impressed by how organized and intimidating the team was. I particularly liked that the team's aggressive style seemed to suit me well. My personal goal is to play in every match and I will dedicate myself to ensure the team can achieve promotion."
