The Korea Professional Football League (Chairman Kwon Oh-gap, hereinafter 'the League') evaluated the achievements in attracting crowds, marketing, and turf management for rounds 1 to 13 of K League 1 and announced the winners of the ▲Full Stadium Award, ▲Plus Stadium Award, ▲Fan Friendly Club Award, and ▲Green Stadium Award.
This season, K League 1 is continuing its popularity with over 1 million spectators in just 91 matches. The 'Full Stadium Award', given to the club that attracted the most spectators, was awarded to FC Seoul. Seoul attracted an average of 29,848 paid spectators over a total of 6 home games held during rounds 1 to 13, which is the highest figure among the 12 clubs in K League 1.
The 'Plus Stadium Award', given to the club with the largest increase in attendance compared to the previous season, was awarded to Anyang. Anyang attracted 8,379 paid spectators to the Anyang Sports Complex, an increase of 3,129 from the previous season's average of 5,250 paid spectators.
The 'Fan Friendly Club Award' is given to the club that has the most fan-friendly activities based on marketing and fan service evaluations. The winners were selected by combining scores from the first evaluation committee (40%) and second group voting (journalists 40%, fans 20%).
As a result, the 2025 season first K League 1 Fan Friendly Club Award was won by Daejeon. Daejeon (94.6 points) captured the hearts of fans through ▲MD Shop and F&B facility improvements, and ▲enhanced marketing utilizing mascots.
Ulsan (91.6 points) placed second with ▲travel products planned for away fans, ▲the release of club songs and hosting a Children's Day event, while Seoul (84.8 points) placed third with ▲the first delivery service for table seats in K League, ▲collaborations such as 'FC Seoul x GS25 Concept Store' and 'Crayon Shin-chan'.
The 'Green Stadium Award' was determined by combining evaluations from match supervisors (50%) and team evaluations (50%). As a result, Gwangju's home stadium, Gwangju World Cup Stadium, received the highest score. Gwangju maintained optimal ground conditions through systematic management by the Gwangju Sports Council. Following in second and third place were Jeju's home stadium, Jeju World Cup Stadium, and Anyang's home stadium, Anyang Sports Complex, respectively.
