Ulsan Hyundai Mobis has signed contracts with free agents Ham Ji-hoon, Jang Jae-seok, and Seo Myung-jin. The contract terms are 1 year for Ham Ji-hoon, 3 years for Jang Jae-seok, and 5 years for Seo Myung-jin.
Ham Ji-hoon, a symbol of the team and a franchise player, expressed his intention to extend his playing career by agreeing to a 1-year contract. Since joining Hyundai Mobis in 2007, he has played for only one team. As a legend who led the team to five championship titles, this contract will mark his 18th season with Hyundai Mobis. Ham Ji-hoon said, "Since this could be my last season with the fans, I will play without regrets."
Jang Jae-seok, who demonstrated leadership as the captain in the 2024-2025 season, signed a 3-year contract and will continue his role as a key player in the team. Jang Jae-seok expressed gratitude, saying, "I appreciate the club and the fans for their trust and support," and added, "I will remain committed to the team for the remainder of my time here."
Seo Myung-jin solidified his commitment with a long-term contract, expressing his ambition as a 'next-generation franchise.' After signing a 5-year contract, Seo Myung-jin said, "Hyundai Mobis is the team where I began my professional career and it is the team I want to be with in the future. I hope to become a player who symbolizes the club, just like Ham Ji-hoon."
Hyundai Mobis has acquired players through external free agency, including Jeong Jun-won (1 year) and Lee Woo-jung (1 year) from Anyang Jeonggwanjang, Lee Do-heon (2 years) from Daegu Korea Gas Corporation, and Kim Geun-hyun (1 year) from Seoul Samsung.
